Drugs Confiscated and Two Arrested in Two I-80 Traffic Stops

Two men are arrested and more than 240 pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine, and controlled substances were confiscated following two traffic stops on Interstate 80.

Seventy-five pounds of marijuana and 2.5 grams of methamphetamine were found in a state patrol traffic stop near Grand Island.
A 38 year old California man was arrested on a variety of drug related charges.

The second traffic stop occurred near Lincoln. A Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office K9 detected the presence of a controlled substance inside the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle revealed 168 pounds of marijuana and an unprescribed bottle of Ritalin. The 19 year old Illinois driver was arrested.
