NRG Media, LLC – Broadcast House Radio in Lincoln, NE (KBBK, KFGE, KLIN, KLNC, KBBK HD-2/RED 94.5) has an opening for a Sales and Marketing Assistant. This position will work directly with the Director of Sales. Outside of general administrative duties, Sales Assistant tasks include the tracking of sales and inventory, and the writing of contracts, traffic instructions, and production orders for local and national advertising schedules. This person will also be responsible for running reports for copy, sales, and revenue, as well as providing assistance to a sales team.
This position also works to assist the Promotions Director with any projects needed for upcoming station events and station promotions. This may include developing plans and strategies for events, attending events and assisting with set-up, execution and tear-down of station promotions. A limited amount of hours will fall on evenings and weekends.
This position acts as a backup at the reception desk when needed. Reception duties include greeting guests and clients and answering a multi-line phone.
The ideal candidate will be a multi-tasker with great communication skills and attention to detail with the ability to interact with the general public and manage data. This person is willing to take initiative, be a problem solver and aim to be one step ahead at all times. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce and Google Docs is desired.
