Fiery Morning Crash Sends One To Hospital

Speed and alcohol are believed to have been factors in a fiery crash early this morning that sent one person to the hospital.

LIncoln police tell KLIN News police and rescue units were called to the intersection of I-80 and the 180 Interchange on reports that a car failed to exit the ramp onto 180 and struck a tree.

The vehicle caught fire soon after the collision, but police report witnesses were able to get the driver out of the car before crews arrived.

After being transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, 37-year-old Wayne Buzby was cited for reckless driving and DUI.
