John Junior, but please call me "Junior"! My folks moved my brothers and sister to Lincoln in 1984 and I have been here ever since. I love Lincoln and a lot of my interests as a kid were realized here, including working in radio and being a musician. But, most importantly I met my wife in Lincoln.

I started playing drums at the age of 13 and have never turned down a chance to pick up the sticks and let loose. For a short while, I pursued a career as a professional musician, but then...of all things, radio got in the way! Through a local station listener contest, I had the chance to go on air for an hour...that hour turned into five years before I left to work in sales and marketing. Getting back into radio after a nearly 13 year hiatus has been fantastic. They say "home is where the heart is" and if that can apply to your work, well, my heart is definitely in it.

My iPod is pushing well over 4000 songs, but my current country favorites are from the Zac Brown Band...and anything my two daughters tell me is cool!

When I am not in the studio, I enjoy cycling, golf and you can find me on the mic announcing at professional and amateur cycling events around the U.S.
