Chris Croaker

In the Night-Time Pond

Chris Croaker is a recent grad of UNL and is the voice you hear every weekday night from 6-11pm. As our favorite night-time frog, Chris has the "Hoppy Hour" from 6-8pm (actually that's 2 hours, but he has so much fun in the first hour, he continues it even longer). And you can hear the top requests of the day during the "Top 5 at 9". Above is a photo of Chris when he was a bit younger. What a cute kid!

Activities: Ultimate frisbee, biking, basketball, reading, lounging by the pool, going on road trips with friends, running

Favorite sports teams: Anything Nebraska Cornhuskers (I also have a soft spot for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Don't hold that against me!) Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys

Favorite vacation spot: Bassett, Nebraska. I love floating down the Long Pine Creek in the middle of summer. It's absolutely sublime. The fishing is great too!

Favorite TV show: The Simpsons, That 70's Show, Arrested Development (even though it's cancelled), Heroes

In my mp3 player right now: Dierks Bentley "Long Trip Alone", The Beatles "Revolver" and Jimi Hendrix "Experience"

What my mom probably doesn't know about me: That I'll probably be a bachelor for quite awhile. I like the easy going lifestyle too much...until that special lady comes along of course!
