Frahm was dominant in the circle, not allowing a hit until there were two outs in the bottom of the seventh. She allowed back-to-back infield singles before recording the final out in one of her most dominant performances at Nebraska. Frahm allowed just two hits with no walks and five strikeouts while throwing just 79 pitches in capturing the victory.

The Huskers’ offense did all of its damage in the top of the fourth. An RBI single by Jesse Farrell got Nebraska on the board. Jensen followed with a two-run homer to left, pushing the lead to 3-0. Later in the inning, Hannah Coor crushed a two-run single to left, growing the lead to 5-0. Hannah Camenzind capped the barrage with an RBI single to left to push the lead to 6-0.

The Ducks bolted out to a 5-0 lead through three innings. But in the top of the fourth, the Cornhuskers stormed back. Solo home runs by Case Sanderson and Dylan Carey and a two-run homer off the bat of Josh Overbeek shrunk Oregon’s lead to one. In his second at-bat of the inning, Sanderson laced a two-run single to left-center, putting Nebraska ahead 6-5. The Huskers scored a pair of runs in the fifth, pushing the lead to 8-5. The Ducks rallied with a run in the fifth and one in the seventh to cut the lead to 8-7. But in the top of the eighth, Sanderson clubbed a two-run home run, building the lead to 10-7. Oregon scored once in the ninth, but drew no closer.

It was a monster game for Sanderson, who was 3-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI. Jett Buck also tallied three hits. Every single Husker starter got at least one hit.

The Huskers and Ducks square off in the rubber game of the three-game series Sunday at 2 p.m. Pregame coverage begins at 1:30 p.m. on KLIN.

Reilly played in two sets and had 17 assists with five digs, two kills, two blocks and an ace. Campbell Flynn set for NU in the third and four sets and had 18 assists with six digs.

The Huskers outhit the Cyclones, .360-.171. Skyler Pierce had eight kills on nine attempts to lead the Nebraska attack. Virginia Adriano and Teraya Sigler also had eight kills each while hitting over .500. Keoni Williams tallied three solo blocks to pace the Huskers, who totaled 11 blocks.

Nebraska is back in action Friday at 7 p.m. at D.J. Sokol Arena in Omaha to take on Creighton. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. on B-107.3.
