A person posted on Reddit their receipt for a dinner they ordered at a place called Tom’s Diner. While $9 for chicken tenders and mashed potatoes for $2.99 sounds like highway robbery, the $.38 charge for a stupid question is what has the internet all abuzz.
While servers all over Reddit have shared stories about the idiocy of customers, their questions and requests, the menu clearly states “stupid questions” as a side dish.
Now what constitutes a stupid question is left up to the restaurant and its server.
Of course, the person posting this shaming post didn’t tell anyone what his stupid question might have been. So, you can guess that $.38 charge may have been warranted.
