It is so sad to go into Hy-Vee and see that salad bar just sitting empty. Not being used. At this point it is just taking up space.
A grocery store in St. Louis had the same issue. In any retail business, empty shelves is lost money. What did they do?
Well Dierbergs decided to fix the empty shelf problem. They decided to keep the tossing ice in the salad bar and make a beer bar!!!!
The only thing I am wanting to know is since the salad isn’t there and the all you can eat option is gone, have they replaced it with an all you can drink option?
