LPD: Man Arrested After Work Dispute Leads To Broken Bones, Collapsed Lung

A man is jailed and another is hospitalized after a work dispute leads to multiple broken bones and a collapsed lung.

Lincoln Police Officer Erin Spilker said police were sent to an area hospital Friday, May 22nd, around 10 am in reference to an assault that the victim said happened Wednesday, May 20th.

The victim told officers that an employee of his, 29-year-old Sebastian Draper, came to his home in the 2900 block of Q st. around 6 pm Wednesday and assaulted him after a disagreement concerning Draper’s work schedule.

“The victim indicated that after being thrown to the ground, he went unconscious,” said Spilker. “It sounds like this was a body slam type of move.” 

The victim told officers his next memory was waking up in the hospital with his injuries.

Witnesses confirmed that Draper was seen striking the victim.

Draper was arrested for 1st-degree assault and criminal mischief.
