LPD: Man Arrested After Fighting Officers At Bryan West

A man is arrested after assaulting an officer at a hospital.

Officer Erin Spilker said that police were called to Bryan West just after 12 p.m Saturday on reports of a disturbance.

On arrival, they were met by 34-year-old Seth Ketelhut who observed arguing with hospital security and a Cass County deputy that had initially brought him in for treatment.

“Ketelhut was observed to spit on the Cass County deputy who observed to have visible spit on his face and head,” said Spilker.

As LPD officers helped get Ketelhut under control he began assaulting them as well.

“The LPD officer was then spit at and headbutted, causing pain and bruising to his eye,” said Spilker.

Ketelhut was eventually detained and arrested for two counts of assaulting an officer.
