Lots of people are using Venmo now days. People pay for rent, Facebook marketplace items, etc. In this case, Issac from Utah bought a a camper from Trevor in Michigan…or so he thought. The problem, the Trevor who was supposed to received a $3500 payment lives in Utah.
So what happened next. After Trevor did get the money and it was his. Isaac knew this was a real problem, as Isaac didn’t know Trevor from Michigan. Luckily, Trevor from Michigan decided to do the right thing and make sure Isaac got his $3500…minus $20.
As part of the conversation between Utah Isaac and Michigan Trevor, Trevor joked that he would return it if he could buy a case of beer. The funny part is Isaac got $3480 back. The missing $20 actually did go for a case of beer.
The great part, there are good people in this world who would return the money…and those who understand the inconvenience fee of buying beer.
