ICYMI: CMT Celebrates Our Heroes

By News Aug 10, 2020 | 3:00 PM

With everything that has been going on in the world, there’s a good chance that you missed CMT’s “Celebrate Our Heroes: An Artists of the Year Special” last night June 3rd. They had so many great performances last night, but that wasn’t why they did it.

The last several months have been something no one has gone through, and now think about how many people ended up with COVID-19 and how fast. CMT did such an amazing day making everyone on the front line from healthcare workers, community leaders, first responders, and more.

So if you missed some of the performances from last night you can check out some that CMT shared on Instagram.

@dariusrucker brought us this moving performance of “Forever And Ever Amen” during last night’s #CMTCelebratesOurHeroes. You can watch the show again tonight at 12am/11pm CT on CMT.

If you watched his entire performance you know he didn’t mention anything about the protest and the current state in which our country is going through. There’s a 100% chance this was recorded way before the protest started, because they’ve been promoting this for a while. If you’re wondering what Darius Rucker had to say here you go.
