By News Sep 8, 2020 | 6:57 AM

Every year all of the dictionaries update themselves with new words. This year Dictionary.com has decided to add some 15,000 words that we use in our everyday language.  Some of them reflect the social changes, health, slang and, yes, COVID-19  relates. The slang terms are the fun words that we have all used and didn’t even think if they were “real” words.

Words like

  • GOAT (Greatest of all time)
  • Amirite (Am I right?)
  • DGAF (Don’t give a f***)
  • Jabroni (a dumb person…which has been used for decades in movies depicting Italian culture)
  • Sharientng (parents who share too much)
  • Techlash (rebelling against technology)
  • Switch (the social media platform)
  • Zhuzh (making something more interesting)

Out of 15000 new words, some of them should have been in the dictionary a long time ago, but other words should have stayed out. If you want to see the complete list click the link, if you have that much time.
