Social Distance Santas

By News Oct 8, 2020 | 8:31 AM

With Christmas right around the corner, kids everywhere make the pilgrimage to the malls to sit with Santa and rattle of their lists of wants for the day that the Jolly Old Elf comes down the Chimney and drops off his stash of goodies.

This year visiting the man with the belly that is a bowl full of jelly may be a bit different than previous years.

Who am I am kidding, it will be totally different.

Most places that have Saint Nick waiting for the kids will have to deal with making their requests through plexiglass or, in some cases, making Santa sit in a Snow Globe or inside a picture frame. This way, you will still have the mystery of the Santa in place…and those expensive pictures, ya,. they will still exist, but some maybe more because of the new setting.

The reason is obvious, Santa is in the High Risk category. And kids do have the propensity to carry the disease, so while the kids won’t have the chance to sit o Santa’s lap, this year, could be pretty cool…and Santa won’t have to deal with the crying, and pee that they kids leave for him.
