The Stop Snoring Pill

By News Nov 2, 2020 | 7:54 AM

In full disclosure, I am in the same ranks of many men, including Jimmy Kimmel, who sleep in separate rooms because I snore. It has been 10 years since my wife and I share the same bed. At first, it bothered me. Now, 10 years later, I prefer it. But it does cause a REAL problem on family vacations, as you may expect…and a bit expensive. So when I heard there could be a solution, via a pill…you better bet my ears perked up.

So what’s the scoop? Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston has created a pill combination that includes a non-sleeping pill where your sleep interruptions from almost 29 times per night (which is what causes the problem, in most cases) to 7 times per night. So, if you want to sleep in the same bed and with Apnea, and C-PAP machine ain’t your thing, this could be the perfect solution when it is out of the trial mode and approved by the FDA.

While this could save the lives of people with Apnea, this could also save some marriages and the lives of significant others whose spouses have Misophonia: the rage associated with hating mouth noises.
